Andre Drummond is expected to be a starter for the Lakers, with Marc Gasol coming off the bench, per Jovan Buha of The Athletic.

The Lakers, who announced Drummond on Sunday, are planning to give the veteran center a big role in the tactics.

Therefore, Drummond will be a starter over Gasol whenever he makes his debut with the Lakers.

For his part, Gasol, who has been struggling so far, will see his role change with Drummond in the lineup. The Spanish center is averaging 4.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and two assists for the defending champions this season.

On the contrary, Drummond has averages of 17.5 points, 13.5 boards and 2.6 assists per game.
