The Los Angeles Lakers went through a difficult stretch in February as they lost four games in a row without Anthony Davis and Dennis Schroder. The reigning NBA champions have won 5 out of 7 games since, including three-game winning streak after the All-Star break.

Schroder, who had 16 points and 7 assists in 32 minutes of play in a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, shared his thoughts on what led to the Lakers’ recent success. “Kuz right now playing great,” he said. “THT doing a great job involving everyone and scoring in the paint as well. Like I said, putting so much pressure on the rim it’s getting easier for the ball handler to make a decision because he draws so much attention.

“Like I said, everybody’s giving something to the game and that’s the reason why we’re so successful right now.”
