Stephen Curry made an interesting statement after the blowout loss of the Golden State Warriors to the Los Angeles Lakers (91-117).

Curry said the Lakers and the other NBA teams want to ‘beat them bad’, due to their championship run between 2015 and 2019.

“Teams still want to beat us and beat us bad. They have a lot of memories from the last five years,” Curry told reporters, via Sportscenter.

Curry and the Warriors played in five straight NBA Finals (2015-2019) and won the championship three times (2015, 2017, 2018).

After the loss, Golden State dropped to 19-16, whereas the Lakers climbed to second in the West, with a 24-11 record.
