The Utah Jazz earned their 26th win of the season by crushing reigning NBA champions the Los Angeles Lakers 114-89. With the best record in the entire league, the Jazz entered the list of potential contenders. Frank Vogel, the head coach of the Lakers, praised Utah after his team’s loss.

“They’re the hottest team in the league,” he said. “Nobody’s playing as well as Utah Jazz in the NBA right now. It’s just the way they’re shooting the ball, the way they connected defensively. The continuity they bumped it they’re getting by having the same team come back. All those things are playing out well. Coach Quinn Snyder is doing a phenomenal job with them. They’re playing like the best team in the league right now.”
