The Dallas Mavericks could explore the possibility of trading Kristaps Porzingis, according to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report.
Per the report, the Mavericks have “sniffed around” about Porzingis’ trade value.
“They’ve definitely sniffed around on him. They’re taking the temperature, because they know at some point it’s gonna come around,” an assistant general manager told Bleacher Report, via Clutchpoints.
Porzingis missed the first nine games of the season with knee injury and is still struggling on both ends.
Porzingis is under a five-year, $158M contract with Dallas, while the trade deadline is on March 25.
