Kyrie Irving was excited about the Brooklyn Nets’ 124-120 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night.

Irving was happy to see the Nets make an ‘impression’ against a fellow title contender, like the Clippers.

“We know they’re in contention to meet us down the line, so we wanted to make an impression, and we did that,” Irving told reporters, via Rachel Nichols of ESPN.

Irving exploded in the game and went for 39 points (15/23 shooting, 6/8 from beyond the arc) and five rebounds.
