Derrick Rose is considered a candidate for the Los Angeles Clippers, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Rose is on the final year of his contract with the Detroit Pistons and could leave the team before the trade deadline in March.

As Charania reports, via Sam Amico of Forty Eight Minutes, the Clippers are monitoring the situation in Detroit and could make a move for Rose.

The Pistons currently have the worst record in the Eastern Conference (4-13) and could consider making changes to the roster.

For his part, Derrick Rose has missed several games due to a knee injury and load management.
