Deni Avdija shared his thoughts on the possibility of being selected by the Golden State Warriors in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Avdija, who is expected to be a Top-10 pick, believes joining the Warriors will be ‘a great situation’ for him.

“Great organization, great team, and a great situation for me. [But] I don’t really care where I go, I just care that the team that’s going to draft me is going to maximize my potential and I’ll be a good part of the team. At the end of the day, that’s my goal.

Being one of the top 10 picks in the NBA Draft is for sure a goal for every player. But for me, it’s less this and more being at the right team, with the right situation that can help me develop and be the best Deni I can be.

At the end of the day, you look at the end of your career and not with which pick you were drafted,” Avdija told reporters, via Eurohoops.net.

The 2020 NBA Draft will take place next Wednesday, November 18.
